My Tree

I know!  It’s Wordless/One-word Wednesday and usually I am really good a creating a post for that theme.  But today, I think this photo needs a bit of explanation.

You see, every day on my walk, I see all these brightly colored lights on trees inside people’s homes.  I am not sure why they are there, but they sure do look pretty and shiny.

We don’t have a tree like that at our house.  Mommy says she is afraid of what I might do to it or how I will react to it.  So I decided to take matters into my own hands.

The other day on our walk, I picked out my own tree!

the tree

I carried it for most of our walk.  I wanted to spread some holiday cheer in the neighborhood.  I think it worked, ‘cause Mommy and Daddy could not stop laughing.

Doggy Kisses,

  1. Ask your mommy and daddy to get some lights for your tree. :)

    the 2 brown dawgs

  2. It is a lovely tree - maybe they will show you the Charlie Brown movie! Have a Merry Christmas!

  3. Awww, Tanner -- you're such a silly boy. I say take that tree home, stand it up, and add some lights!

    Woofs & hugs, <3

    ~Bailey (Yep, I'm a girl!)

  4. hey Tanner,

What a pawsome pup you are! You succeeded in spreading holiday cheer because you put a smile on my human and a wag in my tail as we read your post! Such a pawsome idea! I hope next Christmas you can get a tree and show your mom and dad just how good you can be when you know Santa Paws will be putting some gifts under the tree for you!

  5. Your tree looks better than anything from a store, Tanner. :)

  6. Hey Tanner,

I think they got the message, maybe next year they'll trust you to have your own?

    Have fun,

    Your pal Snoopy :)

  7. hey Tanner,

Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas! Hope your day is filled with much fun and laughter and yummy treats! :->
