Furry Fun Friday!

Good news!!  Mommy has decided it is time we take our “show on the road” so to speak.  She has decided it is time for us to play in the backyard!  Don’t get me wrong, I get lots of time outside.  I go for two walks a day.  And they are looooong walks.  And I also get to got to parties, softball games, yard sales and other fun stuff.  But, outdoor “play time” just hasn’t happened much lately.

010

First, Mommy decided she had to make it a bit more “homey” in the back yard.  She wants to put in a patio here, but for now, the table and chair from the front porch will have to do.  I had to check it out.  There has never been furniture here before.

Fetch

Mommy got my favorite ball out of it’s hiding place (She put it there, not me!) and we played fetch!012

I hadn’t seen my ball in a while, and I wanted to get re-acquainted with it.  So, I hid under Mommy’s chair to chew it, and some grass!

Mommy says we are going to spend more time out here, as long as it stays cooler.  She even brought her coffee out this morning and sat in the chair while I explored the yard this morning.  It will be a really nice place to spend time, when we get it done!

Have a great Weekend!

Puppy Kisses,

Tanner

  1. Thats great Tanner,

You will really enjoy that unleashed out door time. There is nothing like it. We have a big yard for us family dogs but sometimes My Vickie opens up the whole acre and I get to go out and play with all my visiting friends here at CCC.

There are, like, eight different pools to swim in. (yes they are just little kids pools) but they are all over and we run from one play area to the next, jumping in the water and splashing it around.

Hey, I got a great idea. Tell your human you need a pool....

    Have Fun

    Love

  3. Woof! Woof! My mom does the same thing. We have a gazebo that helps out a lot from the sun. I don't have to hide under the chair ... tell your mom she should also bring you an outdoor bed. I got one n had it for many years ... its great especially I get an allergy if I sit for a long time on grass --- how silly is that but its true. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar

  7. WOW that sun is really bright! Must be sweltering hot out there. I don't think I could play under that sun for more than a minute. I like to hide in the shade too where it is much, much cooler. Hope you had a fun time though!

  9. hey Tanner,

Yay! Outdoor time is fun, especially when the human hangs around too! Nice yard, and looks like you have a lot of fun things to explore! I have been eating grass lately, too. It sure tastes good, and helps my tummy. :->

You look like you enjoy playing fetch. Hope you get more outdoor time!
