Training Changes

I think I mentioned in previous posts that Mommy has decided to change up some of my training.  She has decided that I am having trouble focusing on her.  And that is what she wants to fix.

Mommy did what she always does, she bought a book.  It is called Control Unleashed, by Leslie McDevitt.  Mommy is working on teaching me how to relax.  Personally, I think I am pretty good at it.

But Mommy says not so much during training sessions.

Here is a video of one of our recent sessions:

I think I did pretty well.  This is just a small part of the session.  When I start to “spin” Mommy goes and sits down.  It is my job to go to her when I calm down and want to play again.  Sometimes she has a make a loud noise to get me to stop spinning, but other times I do it on my own.  I really like to play with Mommy.

I’ll be posting more about my training sessions this week and as time goes on.  Mommy and I are learning a lot.

Puppy Kisses,

Tanner

  6. Hey Tanner,

Yep, you look pretty relaxed to me, but what do I know!

My Mum reads those kind of books too, she could just ask me to do whatever it is she wants, she just forgets to say please - Tee Hee :)

    Hope you're having fun,

    Your pal Snoopy :)
