Tanner's greeting

Join me on my journey as I grow to become part of my pack/family. We'll have a lot of fun along the way! Hopefully, I can make you laugh.

Fur Cousins!

Sorry I haven’t posted for a few days, but now that my stitches are out and I can get out, Mommy and I have been making up for lost time.

On Friday, we had our neighborhood yard sales.  Mommy and I went visiting.  We met lots of new people and caught up with some friends we had not seen in a while.

And that evening, we went to see Keys play softball.

Saturday was a pawsome fun day.  We started with our usual walk.  The yard sales were still going on, but we only stopped at one.   Mommy bought a few things and I visited with all the people there.

Then Mommy and Meg put me in the car.  I was not sure where we were going, but I was excited to go.

We went to see my cousins.  And I got to play with them!

001

My cousins have a fenced in yard, so Mommy took my leash off and let me run free.  This is me with Hope.  She is a Bearded Collie.  She is a lot older than me, but she seemed to have fun playing.

003

And this is Rollie.  He is really big and very furry.  Aunt J and Uncle D are not sure what he is, but they think he is part Leonberger.

004

Rollie played with me and Hope too!

And Annie was there too!  Do you remember her from my Picnic post?  She was really shy and quiet because it was her first day with the family.  Well, she isn’t shy anymore.  She loves to play.  This is her on her big brother’s back.  Quincy is a Great Dane.

Now, as you can see in the photos, I got to play, but I still had my seat belt on.  That should have been my first clue that we were not staying here for the day.

After about 30 minutes, Uncle D put my fur-cousins in their house.  Mommy and Meg and I got in our car and  Aunt J, Uncle D, Cousin E & K all got in the car and we started to drive.

Being as this post is getting really really long, I think I will save the rest of the day to tell you about tomorrow.

Be sure to drop by again tomorrow for my next post “Wine and Whinnies”.

Puppy Kisses,

Tanner

  5. Hi Tanner,

Not surprised you didn't have time to post, you've been busy!! Woohoo!! You got to play with a Bearded Collie, just like me, well not quite like me, it looks like your new pal wears her hair short, at least Hope won't be getting her fur stood on! :)

Looking forward to hearing about the rest of the fun,

    Your pal Snoopy :)
