The Stitches are OUT!!

Mommy and I went to the vet this morning at 11 am.  Dr. A. looked at my owies and said I had healed well enough to have the icky stitches removed.

001

So, while Mommy petted my nose and talked sweetly to me,

002

Dr A. and vet tech P. took the stitches out.

Mommy said I was so good and she was so happy, we would stop at the puppy store for a new bone.  I got to sniff them and help Mommy choose.  We got a nice big white bone filled with cheddar and bacon.

004

As you can see, it is really yummy!

I got another treat a lunch time.  Mommy gave me some wonderful frozen yogurt and peanut butter treat** that she keeps in our freezer.  She even put my all time favorite treat on it…..

003

Whipped Cream!!!!

I licked the whipped cream off first.  Then I ate the yummy frozen part.  This is going to be a good day.  Mommy says we may even go to puppy class tonight to refresh some of my behaviors that I seem to have forgotten this past week.  I am really looking forward to a good day.

Puppy Kisses,

Tanner

** Mommy wanted me to tell you that we put a link to the recipe we use in our post rather than reposting the recipe.  It is not our recipe and we want the recipe inventors to get the credit.  Hope you understand!

  1. Hi Tanner,

I'm so glad your stitches are out and you got to have such yummy treats! I hope this means you are feeling better. :)

I totally understand why your mommy didn't repost the recipe -- my mommy wants me to say thank you for that. She has had so much experience of copyright infringement over the years on her own websites, and she says she is happy when people actually respect the copyright of others. So thank you from both of us for that!

    Happy Thursday woofs & hugs,

    ~Bailey
