That is what I have been doing all weekend.
Just relaxing, chilling and healing.
I spent a lot of time laying at and on Mommy’s feet while she worked. She said she had some collar orders to fill, so I gave her plenty of time to work on them. The worst part was the “cone” I had to wear.
This morning, Mommy talked to Dr. A (my vet) and he said Mommy could start to treat me like “normal”. So, I am wearing my head collar and leash so Mommy can keep me from chewing my owies. I can still chew my bones and play with my toys, but Mommy won’t have to sit right next to me to make sure I don’t bite at my stitches.
I should get my stitches out on Thursday!!! Mommy and I can’t wait.
For today….. I just plan to chill some more.

ReplyDeleteI'm sure relieved you can still play with your toys and bone during this healing process - that would have been awful if you couldn't!! It should make the time go faster Buddy - hang in there, not long to go now and then you'll be running around again and free as a Bird!

Poor Tanner! Those head collars aren't fun for anyone, especially not excitable puppies!
