Play Ball!

Yesterday, I got to go to my first softball game!  Neither Mommy nor I really knew what to expect, but we were both excited.

We had to drive about half an hour to get to the game.  MJ, Keys (his girlfriend), and Key’s sister were playing in the game. 

When we got to the field, I jumped right out of the car.  Mommy walked me over to see Key’s parents.  And who was there?  My buddy Max.  Max had just gotten a haircut.  If you want to see what he looked like last time we played, you can check out this post.

Max was not in a good mood, so we didn’t play for too long.  I decided to sit down and try to figure out what softball was all about.

Mommy said I was a really good boy during the games.  I layed down at her feet and watched and ate some grass.  I barked once or twice, but otherwise, I was really quite.

Between games, MJ and Keys came over to visit me.

MJ and Keys played really well.  We all had a great time.

Then Mommy took me home and fed and walked me.  After my walk, she put me in my crate.  I was so thankful for the break.

I am not sure where they went, but they left for a while and I slept!!!

It was a really great day!   I can’t wait to go again!

But, hopefully next time, I get to play with a ball too!!
